27th August 2004 Windsurfing: Lepe Wind Direction: West Wind Stength: 18knts Surf / Sea State: Chop with swell running furthe Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Patchy rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Having had a terrible sail round at Calshot, I decided to try Lepe out for the first time. Much windier on the beach so rigged the 5.7 with the little board, unfortunatly the wind driopped as I hit the water so came back in and grabbed the 6.5 and large board Brilliant sail - love the T-bird! Some enjoyable gybing on the face of the swells further out |
